We are delighted to announce that we have a new and exciting menu in our café. Scott Crocker, our new Kitchen Manager, worked on the menu while the café was closed.
New dishes include:
- Crispy battered cod – the classic cod and chips, a cod fillet in our own crisp, golden batter served with chunky chips, crushed peas and homemade tartare sauce.
- Chicken burger – a butterflied prime chicken breast fillet in a crispy seasoned flour coating served in a Rumwell sage bap with lettuce, tomato and chilli or lemon mayonnaise. Served with chunky chips and a salad garnish.
- Beef lasagne – our own rich Aberdeen Angus minced beef Bolognese sauce layered between sheets of pasta with a creamy bechamel sauce topped with melted cheese and served with garlic bread and salad garnish.
- Vegan chilli broccoli linguine – steamed broccoli pan fried with red chilli and onions tossed together with linguine pasta and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Vegetable curry – a medley of mixed vegetables in a mild curry sauce served with rice and mango chutney.
