Our bakery items are very popular and have won us various awards. Our tempting range includes chocolate brownies, shortbread, scones, fruit pies, cheesecakes and much more, with new recipes constantly being added.
As well as our cake offerings, we make our own fresh bread daily in our new bakery including white, wholemeal, multi grain and sourdough loaves, plus crusty white French sticks. The bakery also offers fresh soft baps for burgers and the finger rolls for sausages for summer barbecues.
A very popular item is our handmade doughnuts. We have several varieties. These are jam, custard, apple, salted caramel, Biscoff, coffee and jam with cream. As well as our Doughnut of the Month.
To add to all this, the team produce seasonal items, from shortbread Valentine Hearts & Easter Simnel cakes to our own luxury traditional Christmas cakes, decorated by hand, and indulgent mince pies made with orange and almond pastry.
Our Bakery is award-winning and has been very successful in the past few years with its Taste of the West entries. The team has recently scooped a 2025 GOLD for our very popular Biscoff Doughnut. Our mince pies are 2024 Taste of the West SILVER award-winners and our fruity teacakes won a 2024 GOLD too. Our 2023 wins included GOLDS for our sourdough loaf and our rock cakes and our Cake Kitchen won a Gold for its Biscoff Millionaire Slice.
