Our family farm is located at Hillcommon and Bradford on Tone and covers 600 acres. It encompasses many enterprises including:
Beef
Our Aberdeen Angus beef cattle spend the summer months grazing on lush green grass on the banks of the river tone. The winter months are spent housed in large, airy buildings, kept warm and comfortable on straw beds. They are fed on nutritious maize grown on the farm, topped up with our own barley and stock feed potatoes.

Pork
Our pork is outdoor reared by James Mitchell on the family farm. The piglets are farrowed in the field and after weaning are reared in small groups with a straw bed and spacious outdoor run. The wheat and barley that we feed our pigs is 100% homegrown. We mill and mix our own feed on the farm with a combination of vitamins and minerals.
Eggs
Delicious free range eggs are lovingly supplied by our hens, who roam under the apple trees while always having access to food, water and shelter in their houses.
Potatoes
We plant them in the spring and they are harvested in the autumn. They are then kept in our cold stores, graded into bags and delivered to the shop. They are sold in the shop as well as used in the cafe to create delicious meals.
Combinable crops
We grow wheat barley and maize and all the cattle, pigs and hens are fed on a mixture of the corn grown on our farm with vitamins and nutrients.
