Built in 1997 and covering 200 square metres, our Farm Shop houses eight different departments. The Shop has been awarded overall Taste of the West Gold Awards for three years in a row from 2022-2024.
In 2023, we also opened our brand-new Rumwell Orchard extension especially for our events.
Our Food Hall sells a huge array of delicious food items and items you wouldn’t find in a supermarket, as well as fruit, vegetables and groceries.
The Gift Room stocks a large range of items from children’s toys, books and games to kitchen ceramics, as well as homewares.
Visit our Butchery counter where you can pick up our own farm-reared and free-range pork and Rumwell Angus beef, as well as other meats.
Our Jam Kitchen creates a range of 50 products including jams, chutneys and marmalades, while our Bakery bakes fresh bread daily including white, wholemeal, multi grain and sourdough loaves. The team also makes a variety of doughnuts, which are bestsellers.
This year, we’ll be adding a gluten-free department too, with products made on-site in a special kitchen.
If that wasn’t enough, we also have a Wine Cellar where you will find champagnes and wines from around the world, sourced by our wine merchant Cellarmarque, many of which are hard to find elsewhere in Somerset. To find out more about people who head up each of our departments, please click here.
