Madison Murray from Wiveliscombe was named the winner of our best fancy dress costume competition at our spooky Halloween-themed tea yesterday (Sunday, October 30, 2022).

Fun for all

Our Halloween celebrations are always popular, and this year was no exception as we once again hosted a spooky-themed tea for children and their families, which included a table-based tea with an age specific activity pack including, colouring, wordsearch and mask making for each child.

Children and adults were encouraged to come in fancy dress and we loved seeing lots of scary ghosts and witches, as well as all other wonderful fancy-dress costumes. We’d like to say a huge ‘congratulations’ to Madison for her winning costume.

Pumpkin carving

Youngsters also got the chance to scoop out one of our pumpkins and draw a frightening face on the front. Our staff then took it to the kitchen to carve the designs for them to take home.

We would like to thank everyone who came and had a lovely time, also the effort that went into Halloween costumes was fantastic! We hope to see everyone again next year for more spook-tacular fun!
