We’re hosting the event on Thursday, June 14 from 3pm until 5pm to raise money for Stand Against Violence (SAV), which is one of our charities of the year.
The afternoon tea will take place in our cafe and will cost £10.95. One pound from each ticket sale will go to the charity. The Chari-Tea will include a variety of sandwiches, scones and cakes and plenty of tea!
We will decorate the cafe with table cloths, flowers and vintage china to really give the English afternoon tea feel. There will also be relaxing background music and we will be hosting a raffle in aid of the charity with a range of prizes.
Booking for this event is essential, please call 01823 461 599 and select option four or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
SAV was set up in 2005 following the murder of 17-year-old Lloyd Fouracre. SAV aims to prevent violence, its long-term consequences and the grief of losing loved ones. The workshops it delivers equip and inform students in an effective manner how to Stand Against Violence.
Adam Fouracre, Chief Executive Officer at Stand Against Violence, said: “It’s fantastic that Rumwell Farm Shop is hosting another event in aid of SAV. Its support is greatly appreciated. With the money raised we can continue to deliver anti-violence workshops, self-defence and vital first aid lessons to young people across England and Wales.”
The Afternoon Chari-Tea will take place at the Rumwell Cafe on Thursday, June 14 from 3pm until 5pm. Booking is essential.
