We stock a
huge array of items in our shop and are continually expanding to
meet demand!
Many of the products that we sell are from our farm, but where
this is not the case we try to source our products as locally as
possible.
We have a large selection of our own quality vegetables including
4 types of potato - namely Wilja, Maris Piper, Desiree and Marfona.
We also sell cauliflowers, cabbages, calibrese, swedes, sprouts,
leeks, beans, seasonal vegetables and salad, to name a few.
We sell
fresh fruit, frozen food, home-baked fruit pies, cheeses,
every-day grocery items, fresh and frozen meals and
deli products, cakes, biscuits and we make our own preserves, jams
and jelly. The honey on sale comes from bees which live in our 62
acre apple orchard, where we also grow Cox, Bramley, Russet and
Katy apples, Conference pears and cherries. Our eggs come from our
1,800 free range hens who roam happily around the apple trees.
We have a
Traditional Butchery counter for fresh meat products including
beef and pork from our farm and local wild venison and other game in
season. We have purpose built kitchens on the
premises, which can be viewed from the shop. Here we make
all the jams, chutneys, pickles, soups, quiches, ready meals,
sweets, cakes, pies and biscuits which you will find for sale at
reasonable prices. We also have a range of foods for those with
allergies including gluten-free sausages (see our new
gluten free
food page). You will also find many
other items including local ciders, beers and wines, chocolates,
books, gifts, fruit juices, logs and plants!
